Mural Arts teamed up with The Food Trust to provide Night Market attendees with an interactive art experience that included several bodypainted models by our team at Bodypaint.Me. The “Walking Murals” pop up, spearheaded by halfGenius, captivated Night Market attendees while promoting Off The Wall Ball, the after party for Mural Arts’ annual fundraiser, Wall Ball.
Here’s the mural that we referenced for the artwork on our models.
Kim Beck’s Wildish, as seen in the Wall Ball 2015 invitation, can be viewed in person at 5300 Media Street, Philadelphia. Lead Muralist Briana Dawkins. Photo by Steve Weinik.
After painting furiously for a few hours in the Bodypaint.Me studio we took some photos and headed out to Night Market to create a spectacle.
Thousands of photos were taken and the streets were packed with people!
This year the party will be held on May 21 at the Electric Factory from 10 pm – 12 am with drinks and dancing and music from Philly favorites Mr. Sonny James and Matthew Law, all while raising money for public art programs around the city. Click through to purchase tickets now!
