Our experiment has been unleashed. Thank you, Ithaca, for participating in our weird little world. The glowing chandeliers, the long winding blacklight corridors, the glowing creatures, the cryptid cuddle couch. All of it!

After launching The Thing and the Human Scrapbooking Experience in Charlotte this summer, we watched something unexpected happen. What started as an underground bodypaint party has taken on a life of its own.

We never imagined that one of the next chapters would unfold all the way up the East Coast in Upstate New York. But then again, why not? Ithaca has always been one of the most magical cities in the universe, and we’re all about making magical places even more magical.

Argos transformed into a glowing portal of blacklight bodypaint, fairy stickers, cryptids, blacklight chandeliers, dance floor chaos, and smiles. So many smiles. The energy in the room was electric.

The biggest Thing yet unfolded in Ithaca, and the photographs below capture a few fragments of the magic that emerged when Ithaca stepped through the portal with us.
